MicCarry Privacy Policy

Effective 30 August 2026 · Multisystems

The short version

Audio

During a session, your voice travels from the iPhone, over the USB cable, to the MicCarry input on your Mac, where the app you chose consumes it. MicCarry does not store this audio and does not send it to any server. Normal operation does not record audio; diagnostics are exported only when you choose to export them.

Sessions and the lock screen

A session exists only after you tap Start microphone on the iPhone, and it ends when you tap Stop, disconnect the cable, or the system ends it. While a session you started is active, it can continue behind the lock screen. MicCarry can continue only while a session you started is active — a force-quit app cannot start from the lock screen, and your Mac can never switch the iPhone's microphone on by itself.

Accounts and personal data

MicCarry has no account system. The apps do not collect analytics, do not profile you, and do not contain third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not collect your name, contacts, location, or any identifier.

Purchases and the free trial

The iPhone app offers a 30-day free trial and a one-time lifetime unlock, both handled entirely by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). Multisystems never sees your payment details. Trial state is stored on your device; restoring a purchase uses Apple's standard Restore Purchase flow.

Software updates

The Mac companion checks for its own updates so you stay current and secure. The update check requests a version file; it does not send personal data or audio.
